This is going to be the termonalogy portion of the board that will be in my hoped useful to all new fighters and even some of our older dumber fighters lol. My hopes are that everyone can sort of pitch in here and just compile terms that aren't explained in the book of war and will be useful for our new fighters. So just post the word or phrase and then under it explain how it is used and its meaning. Please keep conversation in here to a minimum unless it is a debate over the origin or meaning of a term. To show how this will be done I will start it off. Sword and Board- the combination of use of a blue weapon commonly a sword and a shield that is refered to as a board Cheese-flails are refered to as cheese due to their easy to use ablility and their common reliance with fighters thus the name cheese is given to define their cheesieness

poogle and/or poogle moves - refers to any fighting move that requires the use of very flashy and bizarre movements that in turn may confuse an opponent enough to land a killer blow.
owned - getting defeated very easily by an opponent more experienced than oneself.
pwned - and abbreviation of "power-owned". A more dramatic form of being owned.
ninjaed - very similar to be owned but in a more flashy and eye pleasing way

I'm going to say that the meaning of this word is closer to this- a move that involves using flex and or special arm movement nessassary to reach over a block.

I'm pretty sure that falls under "flashy and bizarre".

actually guys, as far as i can tell from what ixous and i have done to eachother and talked about, i'd say poogling is more of holding your weapon in front of the opponent's face long enough to piss them off, make a rash move, and give the opening for a death blow

turbo bat/speed bat/speed stick/wyn styck(funny outsider term): This a weapon crafted of kitespar core which allows the weapon to be very light, sometimes too light in fact. In order to meet minimum standards, weights are often added in the handle section of the weapon. This brings the center of balance of the weapon very close to the handle allowing it to be very quick. Most times, weapons crafted in this manner are cylindrical to cut down on amount of foam and weight. The cylindrical shape also grants the weapon an omni directional striking surface (no unbladed portions) which allows the wielder to not have to worry about which direction the weapon is facing while they are swinging very quickly in a heated fray. The weapon is made to approximate a medieval barrel mace however it often looks like a small "bat" hence it's many names.

Yeah Rune, I'm going to be really even more strict in this section, so unless its a serious suggestion, keep out of it. Unfortunately I can't delete posts.
