*tear* why the caffeine
Okay...Melissa (my girlfriend [from work])(..........yes. I do.) made the suggestion that I stop drinking caffeine. She's one of those people that believes it stunts your growth (I don't believe it...my entire family is short...which is probably why I am, and I know a lot of people that are really tall and drink caffeine). Anyway...I told her I would do it for a week and see how it went. She said I would get headaches a lot when I first started...but I would be fine soon after that. Now...a lot of you know about me and caffeine.
At first...I thought all I would be giving up are(is?) beverages. Pepsi...Coke...most pops...then I got to Mountain Dew. That hurt. Seriously. It was like being punched in the face. But I agreed to it...and I plan to keep my promise. So lalalala...I stop at Speedway for gas and decide to get a cappucino. I'm drinking it and realize...cappucino's have a lot of caffeine in them. I think the people on the next lane over were a little confused as to why I screamed 'NO!' really loud and whined. I get home...and another thing hits me. This isn't a 'punch in the face hit', this is the full blown 'smack with a metal pipe to the back of the head' hit.
Coffee.
I almost passed out.
Seriously.
A metal pipe will do that to you.

RE: *tear* why the caffeine
I tried this once before too. One of my teachers said I should try giving up caffiene, because I was way to jittery and hyper in class..... this was last year. If I went 1 week without caffiene I would not need to take my final, however if I failed I would need to take a written final that would be 6 pages long (while everyone else had multiple choice).
You have to realize that the time i was working from 6 in the morning till 6 in the afternoon and at computer warehouse, then went to school from 7-10 everynight. So I lived on caffiene.
This was tough as hell..... I was seriously acting one of those non-carb eaters.... I was reading the ingrediants on everything and anything to make sure it had no caffiene. I did great.... no caffiene all week, then I went to school that Friday... the last day of my bet.
I got there and it happened to be the teacher's birthday. She had candy to pass out to everyone. So here comes the teacher down the rows of people...she was handing out Raisenets. I open the box, I shove one into my mouth. It was a damn chocolate covered coffee bean!!!! I was tricked, scammed, made a fool of. I lost the bet because the teacher pranked me.
Fortunately I still got to take the same test the other students did..... I just thought I would share my caffiene story as well.

Poor Mirak You have to give up SoBe too, though I'm not sure if you were ever that big into it.

honestly, i would have ended up in an argument about this one. Tell your girlfriend that you shouldn't have to make a lifestyle change just because she's uncomfortable with your hight. that's completely bogus. i mean, if she actually has a problem that has to do with health, that's fine, but not because she has issues with your appearance.

Oh no no no you misunderstood. She didn't want me to stop drinking caffeine because of my height, she did it because she knows I'm pretty much addicted and wants me to ease up on it. She just added that in as an extra reason I suppose. Trust me if she were to make me change something just because it affected my appearance, I wouldn't be dating her. She did it because she was concerned, and thats the kind of girl I like ^_^.
